About Tyche Tarot

  • Practical and grounded tarot and oracle card readings to help you reflect on your experiences and feelings. Tyche Tarot readings are not fortune-telling sessions. They are down-to-earth invitations to see your life clearly, embrace your agency, and shape your own future!

    Collaborative reading is part of our ethos, so don’t be surprised if you’re asked what imagery jumps out of the cards at you.

  • Whether you have burning questions or just need to check in with yourself, Tyche Tarot is here for it. Bring those questions if you have them, or we’ll start with a chat to determine the best direction for your reading together.

    Each session will be guided with traditional and intuitive spreads and interpretations. However, we believe that your response to card imagery is the key to personalised readings, so your input is always welcome.

    30 minutes is enough for most readings.

    We are based in central Wellington and offer face-to-face readings in the area. If you would like an in-person reading, get in touch to arrange to meet in a place that will work for you.

  • Bri is the reader behind Tyche Tarot. She draws on over a decade of tarot reading experience and channels it to support her community (you!). Empathetic and pragmatic, she will aim to work authentically with you to facilitate mindful living and conscious decision-making. She sees Tyche Tarot as an offering of mutual aide. That’s why all readings are offered in exchange for koha donation (suggested $10 NZD per half hour).

    Classic Multicard

    Classic tarot card readings using traditional spreads. Perfect if you are seeking clarity on a situation or comprehensive holistic reflection on your current circumstances. These readings typically take 30-45 minutes. Suggested koha donation of $10-20.

    Dialogue for Decisions

    Untangle conflicting emotions and consider the possible impacts of your choices by conversing with the cards. These readings are free-form and interactive, guided intuitively by Bri. Typically 30-60 minutes, suggested $10-30 koha donation.

    Three Card Pull

    Three-card readings help you find peace of mind or constructive direction when you need a quick self check-in to make sure you’re on the right track. You’ll get to choose from a selection of tarot and oracle decks. These typically take 10-20 minutes, suggested $5 koha.
